The Black Forest is a mountainous region in southwest Germany, bordering France.   Known for its dense, evergreen forests and picturesque villages, it is often associated with its famous spas, delicious black forest cake, and creative cuckoo clocks.  It’s reputation of madness, mystery, and mayhem owes much of its reputation to the Brothers Grimm fairy tales of witches, wolves, and fantastical story creatures!
